The MacDonnell Suite

The MacDonnell suite is named after Henry MacDonnell, one of the earlist partners in MacDonnells, the well known Cairns legal firm. He owned a 5 acre block immediately to the West of the land where Whitfield House stands. Until recently part of this block was MacDonnell Street, now incorporated into Cairns Botanic Gardens Precinct. This suite has a panoramic view of the adjacent Mount Whitfield Conservation Park.
